The Katsumata Circle
New Beginnings Brighter Futures
New Beginnings Brighter Futures
Named after the visionary and philanthropic founders of the College, Mr Yoshimaro Katsumata and his wife, Mrs Kiyoko Katsumata, the Circle pays tribute to their generous spirit and commitment to building a better future for young people.
Our expanded and enhanced scholarship program, Bridges to the Future, is founded upon Kardinia’s core belief that education has the power to change lives. To expand our scholarship program, Kardinia is seeking the support of our community and to harness the power of philanthropy.
By joining The Katsumata Circle, individuals and families can support our scholarship program with a gift of $1000 or more, or a bequest, and be part of a movement that will provide a life-changing Kardinia education to many more children.
For gifts of $10,000 or notifications of a bequest, AITASHUGI has been chosen, which reflects the Japanese symbol for altruism.
For gifts of $5,000 and above, the RISING SUN reflects the Japanese symbol of hope, renewal, and the beginning of a new day.
For gifts of $1,000 and above, the TSURU, also known as the crane, is a highly symbolic bird that represents happiness, good fortune, perseverance, and longevity.
