Technology is a cornerstone of Kardinia International College and using technology responsibly to accelerate learning is at the forefront of our educational approach.
Senior Primary Students participate in a take home one-to-one device programme designed to complement the curriculum. Students in Middle Primary also participate in a one-to one tablet programme, with devices remaining at school. Students in the early years have access to appropriate age-related devices.
Students regularly participate in eSafety learning engagements as part of their everyday practice to ensure they are well equipped to navigate their way through various online environments and scenarios.
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education is an interdisciplinary approach to learning where rigorous academic concepts are coupled with real-world lessons as students apply science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in contexts that make connections between school, community and work. STEM literacy is important for our students, to foster their future ability to compete in the new economy. Here is a short video of our Junior School girls participating in our STEM School Holiday programme.
