Jesse McDougall named Best All Rounder for Victoria

Year 12 student and College Captain for 2022, Jesse McDougall, was awarded the prestigious Ampol Best All Rounder Award for Victoria at last weeks’ Year 12 Graduation Ceremony.

The Best All Rounder Program has been running for 37 years and celebrates the achievements of Australia’s emerging leaders in the classroom, on the sporting field, in arts and culture and across the community.

For the first time ever, one student in each state was selected to receive a Best All Rounder Award in 2022. As part of Jesse’s award, he has won a $2,000 cash grant and a $1,000 AmpolCash gift card, as well as a $2,000 grant for Kardinia International College.

Our Principal, Catherine Lockhart, and the Kardinia community are very proud of Jesse’s achievements.

Catherine stated “We are so delighted that Jesse McDougall is the recipient of this very prestigious award. For many years, the Ampol Best All Rounder Award has been a highlight of our awards events, because it is an award that recognises the holistic development of students and not just academic pursuits.

“I would like to thank Ampol for their generous support and recognition of students like Jesse. We are so proud that Jesse is the first student to be awarded the Victorian prize.”
