Completing the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) is a major achievement and Kardinia International College congratulates our Class of 2019 for achieving this significant milestone.

The College achieved an average IB score of 35.25, which equates to an ATAR of 93.09. This compares to the worldwide average IB score (May 2019) of 29.65.

Sixty-nine percent of our IB Diploma students received an ATAR above 90, with 90% of IB students receiving an ATAR above 80.

When combined with our VCE results, 31% of students achieved an ATAR above 90, with 55% achieving an ATAR above 80.

We also congratulate our Class of 2019 IB students and Duxes, Jude Corbet O’Rourke, Amelia De Smet and Emily O’Byrne who achieved perfect IB scores of 45 out of 45, equating to an ATAR of 99.95.

A further student, Tilly Elliot achieved an IB score of 44, converting to an ATAR of 99.85.

Once again, congratulations to all our Year 12 students on their outstanding efforts and achievements and to all College staff, past and present, for the role they have played in supporting and challenging our students to enable them to reach their potential.

We sincerely thank the many teachers, families and friends who encouraged and supported our students throughout their studies. It is a time to celebrate the achievements of our Class of 2019!
