Congratulations to Kardinia International College Alumni, Hamish Kingma and Conor Whitty (Class of 2018) selected to exhibit as part of the VCE season of Excellence in the Top Arts exhibition in 2019, which opened Saturday 30 March. The aim of the Season is to benchmark for VCE assessment and curriculum through showcasing exemplary student work.
Conor Whitty’s designed and built a Music Machine, as part of VCE Systems Engineering class, while Hamish’s Media production, ‘Bones and Jones’ is a photographic portrait series shot on film of a fictional 60’s band. The series drew inspiration from the style and candid imagery of musicians such as George Harrison, The Beatles, Donovan and The Kinks.
Congratulations also to Dana Jobling (Class of 2018 – VCE Media) whose beautiful VCE Media print layout was also shortlisted for the exhibition.
The Season of Excellence – Top Designs Exhibition will be exhibited from Saturday 30 March to Sunday 14 July 2019 at the Melbourne Museum. Don’t miss it!
